Sam Van Aken is a professor at the university, he was born and raised on a farm in Pennsylvania, so he loves a lot of agriculture, tried to carry multiple planting fruit trees, and succeeded in planting the first type of them in 2008, using modern agricultural technology called chip grafting.

Aken said: "I worked on 250 kinds of seeds, and put a map to figure out the timing of each bloom and its relationship with other plants plant, and the extent to accept coexistence with other plants, and this way I can form a special tree."
